The Code Enforcement Officer is responsible for enforcing and administering all of the provisions of the applicable codes and ordinances of the Municipality. The duties of the Code Enforcement Officer shall include, but not be limited to, the undertaking of such investigations and other activities as may be required to determine compliance with the applicable codes and ordinances of the Municipality, to issue all necessary notices to abate illegal or unsafe conditions to insure compliance with the Municipal Code of Ordinances for the safety, health and general welfare of the public and to make inspections and determine compliance with the applicable codes and ordinances of the Municipality.
